I saw a part of Hell Girl some time ago, but started watching again after my sister bought Season 1 on DVD and realized I had already watched about half last time around.
For some reason, I was really tempted to attempt a digital painting piece - I've done speed paintings before, but never anything this complex. This was completely done in Photoshop CS. I'm very happy with my results <333
This scene is basically a mix of the opening and ending - in the opening, there's a red butterfly, and in the ending, you can see the water, lanterns, and torii gate. This was very fun to paint. I hope to practice more things like this
